Axion to Supply its ECOTRAX line for Brazilian Railroad Lines
Recycled plastic and plastic component manufacturer, Axion International has announced that it has received an order to supply its ECOTRAX ties for Brazilian railroad lines.
The $200,000 order has been placed by Brazil’s largest rail lines. The ties have been ordered to counter the challenge faced due to extreme moisture since the current ties are made of wood from eucalyptus trees and thus have a shorter life span. The ECOTRAX line of ties has been made purely from recycled plastic through a 100% patented formula. ECOTRAX ties are highly cost effective, durable, involve low maintenance and are extremely strong.
Another highly desirable feature of ECOTRAX line of ties is that they have the capability to withstand any kind of harsh weather. Current rail road ties are faced with the challenge of tolerating extreme weather conditions and insect infestations. The Rail Division Sales Manager of Axion International Cory Burdick is very pleased to know that the market for rail road ties is expanding in order to accommodate new ideas and options which will in turn help the company to explore new opportunities for growth. Axion International produces the STRUXURE line of building products which include pilings, tongue, I-beams, boards of various sizes intended for design solutions and planking. Apart from the railroad industry the company sells its ties to the military, industrial engineering and contracting industries too.
