The Sterling Group’s portfolio company, Roofing Supply Group has a strong distribution network comprising 58 branches throughout 23 states in the U.S. The company is an exclusive distributor of commercial and residential roofing supplies and ancillary products, including underlayment, composition asphalt shingles and related accessories.
Roofing Supply Group offers one-step supply solutions between roofing product manufacturers and home builders and roofing contractors. Intermountain Supply is a supplier of commercial and residential roofing products and other building material products in the regions, Washington, Spokane and Seattle. With the acquisition of Intermountain Supply, the company has reinforced its geographic presence and customer service ability. The Sterling Group, a private equity investment firm, has controlling interests in industrial services, distribution and manufacturing companies.
Roofing Supply Group’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Mike Farrell stated that Intermountain Supply, incepted in 1995, is a recognized roofing product distributor in Washington State and across the Northwestern United States region. The company had found that Washington is a potential market for its company’s products and is happy to collaborate with the Intermountain Supply team to expand its presence into this new region.
