Galvan's New SRC-SS Universal Ground Rod Clamp
The new ground rod clamp named SRC-SS has been designed for use with stainless steel, copper coated and galvanised ground rods and rebar.
In the US and Canada, the ground rod clamp is UL-Listed for direct burial under earth and concrete. The listing of the clamp covers use with 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4-in ground rods. For copper coated and galvanised rods measuring 3/8, 5/8-inch and 1/2-in, the listed wire range is 10 solid to 1/0 stranded. For stainless steel rods, the listed wire range is 8 solid to 2 stranded. With this specification, contractors can now use the same clamp for all their needs. The new ground clamp has the ability to replace various other clamps that are specifically manufactured for economy, standard duty, heavy duty and extra heavy duty applications. Since the clamp can be used for all applications, it reduces the possibility of using the wrong clamp in certain applications.
