LivePicture Living Green Wall System Helps Capture Two Platinum Level Awards Won by Ambius

At the 2015 International Plantscape Awards presented by AmericanHort, LivePicture® helped capture two Platinum level awards won by Ambius. LivePicture is a piece of living artwork manufactured by Suite Plants and it is a unique alternative to framed photos or paintings.

A Platinum award was earned for the major renovation project at The Hilton San Francisco Hotel. The goal was to create a modern, clean look to escalate the hotel's design and elevate its reputation as a luxury lodging and meeting place of choice. LivePicture provided the perfect addition to the formerly bare walls that lined a narrow hallway outside the Executive Meeting Spaces.

Emma Galvez, an Area District Manager for Ambius, said, "Live Picture added life to the bare walls and the hotel has received so many positive compliments and business guests have been wowed. The clean design, ease of use and modern look of LivePicture makes it a revolutionary product within the green living wall market. It has allowed us to provide a new solution for clients, like Hilton, who want a living green wall. "

Alex Loi, Project Coordinator at Hilton San Francisco, said, "Adding LivePicture to our interior landscaping was an easy decision. It is one more innovative way to continue to add a touch of nature indoors and support our goal of creating a pleasant and tranquil environment for the building."

LivePicture is an ideal way to add the benefit of plants where floor space is limited. One of the main benefits of Live Picture is its simplicity; it does not require any pumps, electricity, timers or plumbing, it can hang on any type of wall and it needs water only once per month.

The simplicity of LivePicture is the reason it was included as part of the design project at Northside Forsyth Medical Center in Atlanta. A pair of water features in the building's lobby had failed and there was a desire to replace them with a living green wall. The ability to hang LivePicture over the existing glass waterfall without damaging the glass was a major benefit.

Samanthia Young, a Sales & Design Consultant for Ambius, said, "As a designer it's always exciting to have the opportunity to think outside the box and design something unique. Utilizing LivePicture to hang on an existing glass water feature was a fresh idea that turned into a beautiful design. After seeing the completed project, I could not image any other product that would have worked as well in that space."
