Revolutionary reflective, low e glass

When specifying glass for construction there are three things that need consideration for the control of solar activity. The glass can have a reflective coating, be tinted or heat can be controlled through using a low-e glass. Until now glass would only have one of these properties.

Pilkington has developed a new “pyrolytic” manufacturing process, that allows them to make a glass combines the thermal control of low-e technology with solar controlling reflective glass. Called Eclipse Advantage, the glass is available in blue, blue-green, bronze, green, and grey.
