Tile of Spain Architecture and Interior Design Awards Deadline

The deadline for the Tile of Spain Architecture and Interior Design Awards is fast approaching. Ensure your entry is received by 31 October 2007 to be in with a chance of winning.

The winner of the Tile of Spain Award for Architecture will be published in Architectural Review in 2008. Shortlisted entries will also be showcased on www.arplus.com

Recognising excellence in architectural and interior design, the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association, ASCER, is launching the sixth annual Ceramic Tile in Architecture and Interior Design Awards competition.

The awards are designed to celebrate global work in the field of architecture and interior design, which utilise ceramic tiles made in Spain. Open to professional architects, designers and landscapers, the annual competition awards exceptional entries in two categories: Architecture and Interior Design.

With a ˆ20,000 prize for the creator(s) of the winning entry in each category, inclusion in the new edition of the Architectural Ceramics book and presence at CEVISAMA 2008 (the annual international tile trade fair in Valencia) entries are high and increasing year on year. Previous winners have enjoyed recognition for their work and include the Spanish Pavilion in Aichi, Japan as well as the restoration of the Santa Caterina Market in Barcelona in 2005 and 2004 respectively.

Project entries for the VIth Tile of Spain Architecture and Interior Design Awards must have been completed between January 2006 and October 2007 and may have been undertaken anywhere in the World.

The deadline for entries for all categories is 31 October 2007.
