Casino Arizona, which is based in the Indian community of Pima Maricopa has announced that it has begun construction of a bingo hall as part of an expansion project which was initialised in December. The construction will bring back bingo to the casino on the basis of rising demands from its customers. The new bingo hall will be designed by Seaver Franks Architects AIA.

US-based global aid agency, Mercy Corps has received LEED Platinum Certification for its usage of electronically tintable glass from SageGlass at its new headquarters in Portland, Ore. SageGlass helps in maximising daylight and at the same time controlling heat gain. Depending on the conditions prevailing outside the building, SageGlass can be tinted or cleared.

Pepco Energy Services, a subsidiary of Pepco Holdings will design and build a 725 sq.m Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant at the Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant (AWTP) in DC. The AWTP has a daily capacity of 370 million gal. Pepco Energy will provide the design and construction services for the project amounting to a cost of $80 million.
