Paint From Cows

Natural Building Technologies (NBT) has introduced an ecologically sound paint made from cows milk.

Known as Casein, it is pleasant, easy to use, long lasting and is virtually non-polluting. Natural pigments can be added to produce anything from deep vibrant colours through to delicate pastel shades and unlike modern petroleum based paints, Casein emits absolutely no harmful Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Casein also contains no Titanium Dioxide, preservatives or solvents other than water.

Casein can be on wallpaper, walls and ceilings, furniture, wood, stone, clay, and many other materials. It has an attractive soft matt finish and is highly "breathable" - making it suitable for both modern and historical buildings.
