The DPR-Turner Construction, a joint venture between DPR Construction and Turner Construction, will perform the ground breaking for an acute care building for the Universal Health Services. The five-storey construction will have enough space for a 140-bed health facility.

The 178,000 square foot building designed by HMC Architects will come over an area of 37 acres and will serve the people living in South Riverside County.

The new UHS Temecula valley Hospital will have private rooms, 6 technically advanced surgical suites, a 20-bed intensive care unit (ICU), a consolidated treatment unit, an advanced electronic clinical information system, and digital imaging facilities. The emergency services department can be expanded when required, to have enough space for the patients to prepare for the procedures. The new construction project is expected to get completed in the summer of 2013.

UHS Temecula Valley Hospital will be benefited by the joint venture of two construction companies, Turner Construction and DPR construction, known for construction capabilities. Each company will bring its exclusive expertise and resources for the benefit of the partnership to allow the use of the best construction technology and a team of talented workers for the project.
