Rapid City Cambria Suites to Feature Stacked Stone Exterior

Choice Hotels International, Swift Hospitality Group, Hagg Development Group and Consolidated Construction celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the Cambria Suites hotel, located in South Dakota’s Rapid City.

The upscale 111-suite hotel will be located near Cabela along Interstate 90. The general contractor for the $12.5 million project is the Consolidated Construction Company while Swift Hospitality is in charge of the development. Swift Hospitality provides market analysis development services, management services and real estate consulting to businesses and individuals interested in investing in hospitality properties.

The new Cambria Suites Hotel is a four-storied building spread over 74,000 ft2 and the construction is slated to be completed by spring next year. The hotel will feature a 1,300 ft2 conference room, an indoor pool and a fitness centre. To reflect the architecture of the region, the exterior of the Cambria Suites hotel will feature stacked stone instead of bricks.

The construction of the hotel is expected to generate 150 to 200 jobs during the development period alone. Once complete, 35 staff jobs will be generated as well.

Each room in the Rapid City Cambria Suites hotel will include separate living and working areas featuring movable desks, ergonomic chairs, luxury lines and products by Bath and Body Works. A MediaHub game console, LCD television sets and high speed Internet access will also be provided in every room.
