Millport to Construct Modern Facility for Manufacturing Reinforced Composite Structural Panels

Millport Associates has leased a space of 25,000 sq. ft. in the Miramar Park of Commerce, South Florida, to build a modern facility in the U.S. for producing Inovatec reinforced composite structural panels (RCSP) for the construction industry.

Guilherme de Oms Cooper, U.S. Administrative Director of the company, stated that Millport has acquired all the intellectual property, patents, assets and trademarks of the bankrupt InnoVida and has done considerable progress in exploiting the raw materials and the production method for moving this promising technology to the subsequent level.

The company is building the first high output modern manufacturing unit in Brazil out of four and is looking to offer turnkey factory operations.

Inovatec is a building technology based on highly performing materials that are connected with the aerospace, marine and other modern industries. This technology has extensively reduced the time for construction and is energy efficient. This does not need heavy equipment or specific work on the location. The design of the finished product can be resistant to earthquake and hurricane, and needs minimum maintenance all through its life. This technology is not dependent on the usual construction materials’ availability connected with the conventional systems.

Cooper stated that the company’s objective is to bring this exclusive solution to the construction industry of the U.S., Brazil and other parts of the world. Currently, the company is appraising the projects with global investors and partners, who are in search of bringing Inovatec’s owned solutions to the markets for meeting the housing deficit influencing the global areas.
