Bedford Reinforced Plastics, a leading manufacturer of fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FRP) structural profiles, pultruded and molded grating, will be exhibiting at the 2015 Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition (LAGCOE) at the Cajundome and Convention Center in Lafayette, Louisiana from October 27-29.
Held biennially since 1955, LAGCOE is one of the world's first oil and gas expositions and features equipment, service, and technologies. In 2013, LAGCOE had 416 exhibiting companies from around the world and more than 17,000 attendees from 43 countries and 47 states.
"Bedford's FRP products have been essential to the oil and gas industry for offshore rigs, refineries and more. These environments are constantly exposed to salt water and air, which corrodes traditional building materials," says Eric Kidd, marketing director, Bedford Reinforced Plastics. "Our fiberglass reinforced plastic will not rot, rust or corrode, which makes a big difference to gas and oil professionals. Our products are ideal for an industry that makes it's living around the water. LAGCOE is a great show for us and we look forward to exhibiting there."
Bedford Reinforced Plastics will exhibit in booth No. A97 and will feature their current fiber-reinforced plastic product line, which includes PROForms® pultruded FRP structural shapes, PROGrate® pultruded FRP grating, PROGrid® molded FRP grating and PROPlate® FRP flat sheet, as well as custom profiles, caged ladders and complete assemblies including catwalks, platforms, stairs and handrails available for the oil and gas market.
