New Images of World Trade Center Memorial Revealed

The World Trade Center Memorial Foundation released new images today of what the memorial at Ground Zero will look like.

They also launched a new web site, www.buildthememorial.org, the cornerstone of a national grassroots campaign to help build the World Trade Center Memorial and Museum. The web site also establishes a virtual community of people who have been impacted by 9/11 -- a place to share stories and photographs, visit a 9/11 gallery, keep up with the memorial building progress and see the newly released images of what it will look like. The Foundation is also releasing results from the nation's first comprehensive poll gauging the lasting impact of 9/11. It finds that 7 out of 10 Americans still think about 9/11 once a week, 8 out of 10 believe the Memorial will help heal the nation's pain, and nearly two-thirds say they'll visit the Memorial within the first five years it opens.
