TimberStrand® Laminated Strand Lumber (LSL) is now available in a 1.7E Header/Beam.
This new product offers superior performance properties, comparable to those of LVL at a substantially lower cost.
Available in widths of 35mm and 45mm and depths from 95mm to 356mm, the TimberStrand® LSL 1.7E Header/Beam is available in lengths up to 19.87m making it ideal for long spans. It offers a one-piece framing solution, perfect for door or window headers, beams and garage door openings. The TimberStrand® LSL 1.7E Header/Beam is manufactured using a proprietary environmentally friendly process. Relying on abundant, fast-growing species such as aspen and yellow poplar, reduces the acreage devoted to timber harvesting. The TimberStrand® LSL manufacturing process randomises woods natural strength-reducing defects, such as knots and pitch pockets, providing a consistent, reliable product for specifiers and builders.
