Abloy Security has recently launched a new heavy-duty door operator, designed for use in high traffic areas. The low maintenance DA361 has a slim line design and is available in an aluminium finish. Supplied complete with arm and mounting plate, the new heavy-duty door operator is easy to install and commission and features sophisticated control mechanisms, with an electro-mechanical clutch and hydraulic closing.
The DA361 can be used on external and internal doors, both single and double and is perfectly suited for fire doors as it can be connected directly to fire alarm systems. Each door operator incorporates a power supply unit, motor control board, door closing mechanism, and position sensors in a single, compact and robust unit.
The new door operator is fully programmable, enabling it to be configured to assist or for use by people with disabilities, enabling the system to be used in areas that need to comply with the requirements outlined by the Disability Discrimination Act.
