Retroficiency, provider of the on-demand Building Efficiency Intelligence (BEI) platform, today announced it has now evaluated more than 350 million square feet of building space and identified more than 1.5 billion annual kilowatt hours of energy savings in just over two years since the company introduced its solution. The company has also added Dr. Joseph Wharton, a principal at The Brattle Group, to its Advisory Board.
Retroficiency enables utilities and energy service providers to drive energy efficiency savings at scale. These insights enable faster and more cost-effective and accurate building targeting, customer engagement, energy auditing, and dynamic monitoring for new opportunities. With market-leading rapid energy modeling solutions that analyze either consumption data or building asset data, Retroficiency can address any commercial building and fully evaluate all efficiency opportunities so the best energy-saving projects are implemented.
Retroficiency continues to work closely with utilities and their program administrators to achieve commercial energy efficiency goals. To further support these strategic efforts, it has added Wharton to its Advisory Board. Wharton specializes in energy industry issues, including economic and regulatory policies of energy efficiency.

Wharton joins an impressive Retroficiency Advisory Board, which includes two-term Governor of New Mexico Bill Richardson, who also previously served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy; Paul Dickerson, who served as chief operating officer of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy; Ron Weidner, the founder of Greenprint Foundation; and Eric Teicholz, a fellow of the International Facility Management Association.
