USHIO America Inc. proudly introduces the next generation of extreme energy-saving T8 Fluorescent light bulbs called the 28W ULTRA 8(TM) T8.
These fluorescent tubes can save up to 50 percent on energy bills and last for over six years. Operating at only 28 watts these fluorescent tubes can replace higher wattage (up to 40W) larger diameter T12 tubes or higher wattage (32W) similar diameter T8 fluorescent tubes. Replacing these higher wattage bulbs with the 28W ULTRA 8(TM) T8 from USHIO can save businesses up to 50 percent on their electrical energy bills. These 4-foot T8 light bulbs are ideal for use in commercial and industrial businesses and office complexes. ULTRA 8(TM) T8 bulbs can replace inefficient light sources such as 40W T12 fluorescent tubes while offering as good, or better, light levels.
These German-made T8 tubes are available in common color tones such as Warm White (830 series), Neutral White (835 series) and Cool White (841 series). ULTRA 8(TM) T8 fluorescent tubes have a tri-phosphor coating that allows for high color rendition (86 CRI). The high color rendering makes it easier for people to see true colors and it creates a more pleasing and comfortable environment.
These fluorescent tubes also have a Commercial Rated Life of 30,000 hours. This means that when operated on average for 12 hours per day, the light bulbs should last for over six years. Since these bulbs must be operated on instant start electronic ballasts, a ballast replacement/upgrade may be necessary.
