NASA Awards Ohio Construction Contract

NASA's Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, awarded a construction contract to New Era Builders, Inc., Cleveland. Maximum value of the contract is $16.5 million.

The purpose of the firm-fixed price contract is to construct an altitude combustion stand facility. The work effort consists of demolition of Glenn building 83; removal of hazardous soils; construction of new structures, infrastructure, systems and equipment; site preparation; relocation and installation of new and refurbished government furnished equipment; connection of the equipment, infrastructure and systems; and commissioning of systems for a functioning altitude combustion stand facility.
