Miller Building Systems Sold to Warrior Group

The Warrior Group, a minority woman-owned business based in DeSoto, Texas, announced today that its newly formed partnership, MBSI Holdings, LLC, has purchased Miller Building Systems, Inc. from Coachmen Industries, Inc. The acquisition makes MBSI Holdings one of the first, and largest, minority-owned system built manufacturers in the country.

Miller Building Systems manufactures and sells a complete line of modular commercial and telecommunications buildings of any size and frame, all of which feature computer-aided structural design of each component. In addition, the exterior of each building can be custom designed to client specifications.
MBSI's acquisition of Miller Building Systems includes more than 250,000 square feet of modern manufacturing space in two plants, one in Leola, Pennsylvania, and the other in Elkhart, Indiana.

"The Warrior Group's innovative design and fabrication expertise has made us one of the most exciting small businesses in the modular construction industry," said Gail Warrior-Lawrence, president and CEO of The Warrior Group. "This acquisition and new partnership will enable us to become a significant competitor in the private modular building market, as we will be able to compete aggressively for contracts in many new sectors -- including retail, banking, healthcare, multi-family and senior citizen housing, and office buildings."
