Lauri Rintanen's has Announced his Resignation from Uponor

Lauri Rintanen M.Sc. (50), a member of Uponor Corporation's Executive Committee and acting as EVP, Supply Chain, has announced his resignation from Uponor to assume a position in another company. Rintanen joined Uponor in February 2004 and has been responsible for Uponor's global supply chain and its development.

During Rintanen's time with the company, Uponor has made a major effort to streamline its supply chain network as part of its global unification drive.

"During the last two years or so, Lauri and his organisation have strengthened our foundations and raised our supply chain skills to a new level. On this basis, we have launched several initiatives to develop our operations and efficiency further," comments President and CEO Jan Lång.

Rintanen will continue in his current duties until the end of August 2006. His successor will be announced in due course.
