Professional Institutes Brings Closer Collaboration with China

In response to China as a huge and rapidly growing market for the built environment and engineering professions, 15 leading UK Professional Institutions have joined forces to form Professional Institutions UK – China (PI-UK China), a collaborative venture for professions with interests in China. PI-UK China will be officially launched on 13 September 2006 at a ceremony at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). PI-UK China is a unique initiative amongst British professional institutions that recognises China as the key focus for built environment, construction and engineering activity internationally.
