Ennis Paint and Integrated Paving Concepts Announce a New Strategic Relationship

Ennis Paint Inc. of Ennis, Texas, the world's largest producer of pavement marking materials, and Integrated Paving Concepts Inc. of Vancouver, B.C. announce a strategic relationship wherein Ennis will manufacture and IPC will be the exclusive North American distributor of two leading decorative asphalt products - Imprint(R) and StoneGrip(R).

Imprint is a hot-applied, resin-based synthetic asphalt that provides a realistic simulation of brick pavers for high traffic crosswalk and intersection applications. StoneGrip is an epoxy based, permanently bonded decorative gravel surface treatment that provides a beautiful, durable and low maintenance surface for a wide variety of uses including hardscapes, pathways, parking lots and driveways.

In December 2006, Ennis Paint Inc. acquired Prismo Road Markings Limited. According to W. Bryce Anderson, Chairman and CEO of Ennis Paint "A number of the products which were previously sold by Prismo were a good fit within our Ennis Paint sales organization, which specializes in traffic markings. However, Imprint and StoneGrip are decorative products and IPC's market leadership and product innovation in the decorative asphalt market make them the natural choice to distribute these products".

Clark G. Quintin, President and CEO of IPC said that "Ennis has been an excellent supplier to us for the past several years, and we look forward to expanding our relationship with them. Imprint and StoneGrip are complementary to our existing StreetPrint, DuraTherm and LogoTherm products. Together they form an unsurpassed family of solutions for decorative asphalt needs in the commercial, government and residential markets."

IPC will work with existing installers of Imprint and StoneGrip in areas where the products are currently being installed in volume, and will expand the product into markets that are currently under-served through its network of Accredited StreetPrint and DuraTherm applicators that extends from coast to coast. In addition, Ennis and IPC will work together to further develop the products, with a focus on improving the ease, speed and quality of installation.
