BuildDirect Launches Three New Lines of Decking

BuildDirect, the world's leading online wholesaler, is launching three new lines of decking just as outdoor projects once again become top of mind. The products including: IPE Deck solid ipe decking, Rever composite decking, Kontiki decking tiles and decking planks and Lang aluminum railings and railing accessories, enhance the company's current decking options.

"With spring arriving, outdoor projects and upgrades start to creep back onto the "to do" list," said Jeff Booth, president, CEO and co-founder of BuildDirect. "And the decking products we are introducing are affordable, easy to use and sure to motivate everyone to get creative with their projects."

It's designed to be extremely flexible for many applications beyond decking.
The new product line, available March 15, includes:

IPE - The new line of IPE decking is one of the hardest species of hardwood available, comparable to teak and ebony for its durability. IPE is resistant to insect damage, UV rays and decay. The IPE line will appeal to customers looking for something that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to maintain. IPE decking is available by the pallet at $1.89 per linear foot for the Premium Grade and $1.98 per linear foot for the Pre-Grooved Premium Grade.

KONTIKI - BuildDirect is keeping things easy for their customers with the Kontiki decking line, which makes outdoor decking projects a snap. Kontiki features interlocking wood deck tiles, mounted to a durable plastic backing that clip together to instantly provide a solid hardwood deck, without the need for any tools. Kontiki is ideal for patios, balconies, or poolside, is completely reusable, and easy to relocate as desired. Kontiki Deck Tiles are available by the pallet at $74.20 per box for the 4 strip deck tiles and $71.40 per box for the 6 strip deck tiles (prices are based on a minimum order of 20 boxes). Kontiki is also available by the container at $63.60 per box for the 4 strip deck tiles and $61.20 for the 6 strip deck tiles. Each box covers an area of 18.5 square feet.

"Kontiki deck tiles appeal to the do-it-yourselfer and the professional builder looking for fast, beautiful, easy to install wood decking," said Jeff Booth. "It's an exciting new product for retailers and distributors."

REVER - Highlighting more recycled and multi-use products, BuildDirect is introducing Rever reversible decking made from 100 per cent recycled products. Rever offers two floor options: one side features a wood grain pattern, the other features a beaded, slip-resistant surface. Rever decking is available by the container in 12' and 16' lengths at $0.85 per linear foot.

LANG RAILINGS - Along with the new decking products, BuildDirect is introducing their first line of aluminum railings. The Lang Aluminum Railing System is designed for the do-it-yourselfer looking for professional results. This product is designed for quick and easy installation and has optional components available such as pickets, posts, gates and glass panels. The Lang Aluminum Railing system is available at a starting price of $39.41 per set for the deck railings, $26.72 per set for the railing pickets, $23.03 per piece for the railing posts, $121.99 per piece for the railing gates and $43.68 per piece for the glass panels.

"The great thing about this product is its versatility," said Jeff Booth. "It's designed to be extremely flexible for many applications beyond decking."
