Beans means heat

Researchers from Purdue University have developed a form of home heating oil from a mixture of soybean oil and conventional heating oil.

The soybean heating oil can be used in conventional furnaces without altering existing equipment. Using it instead of pure petroleum-derived heating oil has strong economic and environmental benefits, as well as providing a boon to farmers.

Unlike standard fuel oil, soybean oil doesn’t contain sulphur and a soybean blend decreases sulphur emissions.
