To support growing consumer demand, a new Web site at http://www.premiertopshelf.com now makes it easier to order the Microwave Top Shelf. The unique space-saving product from Peerless-Premier Appliance Company saves four square feet of much-needed counter space in the kitchen. This accessory fits virtually every 24-inch and 30-inch range in the marketplace to accommodate a Microwave Oven or other small household appliances.
"We've been providing the Top Shelf to consumers for more than 15 years," says Alex Volansky, president/CEO of Peerless-Premier Appliance Company. "The new Web site streamlines the ordering process for our customers with the product shipped directly to them."
Microwave ovens are now found in over 95% of U.S. households, according to Appliance Design Magazine. Additionally, almost two out of every three current U.S. residences were constructed before 1980, as reported by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Census Bureau. Kitchen designs in these homes did not allow the space needed for a countertop microwave oven.
"Consumers need more counter space and the Microwave Top Shelf offers them a real-world solution," says Volansky. Volansky cited sales statistics from Appliance Magazine's 54th Annual Report showing that consumers bought more than nine million countertop microwave ovens in 2006. "Top Shelf brings space- saving convenience to these consumers."
Made in America, the Microwave Top Shelf is a patented product that can hold up to 100 pounds. A convenient adapter kit is also available, if for some reason the Microwave Top Shelf does not fit a particular range.
"Consumers recognize the benefits of Microwave Top Shelf, because its versatility makes it an ideal accessory to use in kitchens of all sizes," explains Dennis Daniels, national sales manager for Peerless-Premier Appliance Company.
Daniels further explains that many customers have come back to purchase another Microwave Top Shelf as a gift for a family member to use. He also cited a recent testimonial provided by one satisfied consumer who"congratulated us on the design and engineering of a truly superior product."
