Nature Bridges, specialists in pedestrian bridges and residential development amenities, announced today it has completed arch bridges and dock construction at the new Wetappo Estates development located in Gulf County in Northwest Florida.
The completed project includes arched pedestrian bridges over two separate lakes, construction of two T-shaped docks on one of the lakes, and two docks on Wetappo Creek.
All of the amenities were built using the innovative top-down construction method. With top-down construction, all large equipment stays on top of the new structure during the entire building process. This method provides a long-lasting structure and helps to preserve the surrounding plant and animal habitats during and after construction.
Wetappo Estates is a 490-acre development including 188 estate-sized lots. The area offers wooded deepwater waterfronts, water access and lakefront properties on Wetappo Creek near the Gulf of Mexico. Residents will have access to two private community deepwater docks, a planned waterfront community riverhouse, along with 9-acre and 17-acre private stocked lakes.
