We are delighted to announce the introduction of a new shorter pipe length available in our ABS and PVC-U ranges. Previously available only in 6m lengths, Durapipe ABS and PVC-U pipe is now being manufactured in 3m length sizes.
Martyn Rowlands, our Head of Marketing, explains: “The new 3m length is essential to meet the requirements of our customers who buy our products over the trade counter. We found that the 6m length was often too long for many of our customers to fit in their vehicles. Consequently, this new shorter length option is more convenient for those that don’t have the means to transport longer lengths of pipe or who may be installing the pipework system in a tight location where working space is limited.”
“Previously our 6m length piping, if too long, would often be cut down to size for the contractor at the point of sale, but due to safety concerns with cutting machinery, this option is no longer widely available. The manufacture of 3m pipe lengths caters for a clearly defined need and assists customers who wish to buy these two high performance Durapipe products.”
