The Modern Group, Australia's biggest home improvement company is getting ready to give "solar power to the people". The Australian owned company, established in 1979, is adding Solar Energy Solutions to its existing Eco-conscious product range which includes rainwater tanks, Kool Kote(TM) paint and Enviroblind window roller shutters, and hopes consumers all around the country will get onboard to do their bit for the environment.
The Launch of Modern's Solar Energy product will enable consumers to not only produce their own electricity, but also sell power back to the grid where applicable! It is perfect timing for the company, which has branches in all States, as people are now becoming more aware and also more prepared to do something about our changing climate by reducing their carbon footprint or CO2 emissions.
Modern's Managing Director, Mr. Ron Bayley says, "Climate change and carbon emissions are at the forefront of public debate at present and Modern have taken these concerns on board and decided to propel Solar power into the mainstream consumer market.
