The benefits of vinyl windows have mostly been black and white - great energy efficiency, affordable and reliable. However, the color options haven’t quite spanned the same spectrum.
That’s changing, thanks to JELD-WEN’s top-of-the-line vinyl windows with new EverTone™ exterior finish. Available nationwide starting in April, the company is introducing vinyl window and patio door lines in eight attractive colors, including Chestnut Bronze, Mesa Red, Hartford Green, French Vanilla, Dark Chocolate, Black, Arctic Silver and Desert Sand. These colors match the company’s clad-wood window colors so that homeowners have the option to coordinate different window material types, yet still achieve a seamless look.
“For homeowners who don’t want to paint a wood window year after year, yet still want a customized look, EverTone is a great option,” said Les Stephens, JELD-WEN product marketing manager. “It delivers the same low-maintenance performance, but with new style.”
In addition to this expanded color palette, green has become more than just a color choice with EverTone. EverTone is less environmentally impactful with low VOCs (volatile organic compounds) as compared to other commercial finishes for vinyl.

EverTone is a painting process that combines intense heat and pressure to produce a singular molecular structure that bonds with the material, resulting in maximum long term color and gloss. This exceptionally hard and long lasting coating also reflects infrared rays, reducing heat gain. EverTone is easy to clean by simply wiping the surface with a soft rag and mild soap and water. JELD-WEN offers a 10-year warranty on its EverTone exterior finishes.
