Smart-Tint Switchable Privacy Glass Now Available At Lower Prices in the UK

Internal room dividers and doors can now have the ultimate in glass technology using Smart-Tint switchable privacy glass. The affordable switchable smart glass is now being manufactured in Leicester by Reflex Glass at sensible prices.

With this smart glass technology being made in the UK now massive savings can be made when compared to other suppliers of switchable glass. Smart-Tint glass uses the new generation of super clear LCD film for instant switching when a 60 Volt AC supply is applied to the glass. Reflex Glass says that it can supply its Smart-Tint switchable glass in either single toughened format from 6mm to 12mm thick, for internal room dividers or in a double glazing version 16mm to 28mm thick for external glazing.

"This makes 'blinds in units' out dated as there are no moving parts and the switch to privacy is instant" Says Katie Mitton Smart-Tint sales advisor. "We are quoting switchable glass in more and more projects now as people look for products to give their properties some real wow factor" added Katie.

The company has seen sales grow since it began manufacturing in January 2008, many large office refurbishment projects now feature Smart-Tint for controllable privacy at the flick of a switch.Reflex Glass says that Smart-Tint is perfect for board rooms and meeting/training rooms where images may need to be projected onto a surface, with Smart-Tint switched into the opaque mode video or graphics can easily be transmitted onto the glass turning glass into advertising walls.
