Toxic Chinese Drywall Litigation the Subject of Seminar and Webcast

Attorneys, insurers, builders and experts will gather in New Orleans on Nov. 11, 2009, at The Ritz-Carlton for presentations on litigation, health issues, property damage, insurance coverage, claims processing and other subjects dealing with Chinese drywall.

The producer of the program, HB Litigation Conferences LLC, which has run several well-attended conferences and teleconferences on the subject this year, also is broadcasting this over the Web. And, given the concentration of drywall disputes in Florida, there will be a special feed to six Florida locations - in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa - provided and hosted by U.S. Legal Support, a leading provider of deposition and record retrieval services for litigators.

Chairing the event are Hilarie Bass of Greenberg Traurig LLP of Miami and Michael Ryan of Krupnick Campbell Malone Buser Slama Hancock Liberman & McKee, P.A., of Fort Lauderdale.

Bass and Ryan have assembled a 21-member faculty to address the following: the latest on class actions and multi-district litigation; toxicity and health damages - proving causation; home and property; claims processing - special considerations for various parties; what defendants are named, who gets out and how to coordinate "the crowded defense table"; global cost analysis; insurance coverage topics regarding multiple claims, fumes, policy exclusions; service obstacles, alternative case structures and judgments involving Chinese defendants; and dealing with Chinese drywall during an insolvency.

Also joining the program will be representatives of conference sponsor Marsh, a leading global insurance broker and risk advisor.
