Port of Gävle to be Expanded by Peab

Peab has been contracted to implement the expansion of the port of Gävle. The customer is Gävle Hamn AB. The budget for the project as a whole is 870 million and Peab's share amounts to approximately SEK 500 million.

Peab's mission is a partnering contract with the start of construction this year and is expected to last until 2015. The work includes dredging and stabilization of dredge spoil and other port activities.

- Gävle port has had a significant expansion in recent years. Now, the establishment must be adapted to the growth in activity. I'm pleased that we at Peab have been partnering this mission, "says Anders Jonasson Peab's Regional Manager in a statement.
