The Lightstone Group today announced that Kongsberg Maritime, Inc. has signed a deal to expand its operations to 27,636 square feet at 150 James Drive East in St. Rose, La.
Kongsberg Maritime, Inc. provides reliable systems for merchant marine, offshore, maritime simulations and training, port and harbor surveillance. Kongsberg uses this space as their North American Regional Support Center assisting customers throughout its region, as well as other regional offices.
150 James Drive East is located in James Business Park between the New Orleans International Airport and Interstate 310 on Airline Highway. This industrial and warehouse location is also home to Kongsberg Simrad and Fresenius Medical Care.
"Kongsberg Maritime is a great addition to the mix of businesses and services that occupy facilities in James Business Park," said Eric Marx, senior vice president of asset management for The Lightstone Group. "The park's ideal location makes it a desirable home-base for modern day business models where access to the airport and interstates is critical for key employee mobility."
