Baron + Budd Attorney to Outline Chinese Drywall Litigation Plans at Town Hall Meetings

Baron & Budd, P.C. shareholder Bruce Steckler, a member of the WCI Trust Advisory Board, will speak at town hall meetings on Nov. 16 and 17 to update WCI homeowners on WCI bankruptcy proceedings and the help that may be available to WCI homeowners with Chinese drywall. Along with other members of the WCI Trust Advisory Board and the Legal Counsel to the WCI Chinese Drywall Trust, Steckler will outline general plans for Chinese drywall litigation and recovery and discuss federal court developments, including Knauf’s recent acceptance of service in the federal MDL in the Eastern District of Louisiana.

On Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at 6:30 p.m., a Town Hall meeting will be held in Coral Springs at Coral Springs Marriott, 11775 Heron Bay Blvd., Coral Springs, Fla. 33076, (954) 753-5598. On Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at 6:30 p.m., the second Town Hall meeting will be held in Bradenton at the Courtyard Bradenton Sarasota Riverfront, 100 Riverfront Drive West, Bradenton, Fla. 34205, (941) 747-3727.

“These meetings are a good opportunity for WCI homeowners to ask questions and learn how the WCI Bankruptcy Trust—and the Chinese drywall MDL litigation—could affect them,” explained Steckler. “I encourage all WCI homeowners with Chinese drywall to come, whether or not they have hired an attorney or filed a claim with the WCI Bankruptcy Trust.”
