Internet-based building materials sales innovator BuildDirect has published a page in the company Learning Center about ‘How to Care For Laminate Floors’. The resource page is in place for anyone who owns laminate floors, and wishes to gain a knowledge base about how to take care of them in the long term.
“Laminate flooring used to be thought of as a temporary floor, or a second class floor in some cases,” explains Rob Banks, Co-Founder of BuildDirect. “But, a lot of research and development has gone into it, and now consumers think of it and buy it, as a floor that they can expect to last for the long-term. Caring for it is becoming more and more of a priority for consumers. And that’s why we’ve published this page.”
Laminate floors are known for being great looking, hard-wearing, and easily cleaned. And recent innovation in the manufacturing process has even made them a popular choice for commercial spaces as well. But, even if they are designed with durability as a top priority, tips about how to care for them are still sought after by consumers who wish to protect their laminate floor investment.

Making sure that they retain their great looks over decades lends a lot of value to the savvy flooring consumer these days. We’ve recognized that.
