PlasmaTech Announces First Wireless Door Lock

PlasmaTech, Inc. (Pink Sheets:PMAH), a wireless technology innovator providing solutions to the $120 billion global security market, announced today it has officially launched its first wireless access control product, the 2400DL wireless door lock with built-in card reader. The 2400DL device remotely controls and helps prevent tampering to all access points in a business, home, government building, or anywhere the highest security protocols are required.

PlasmaTech's wireless door lock easily mounts to virtually any door, greatly reducing the time and construction costs associated with replacing, retrofitting or removing existing wired security systems. PlasmaTech’s engineering recognizes that with less security personnel and outdated wired systems, a building is left vulnerable to physical attack or loss of data intelligence. Designed with today’s virtual working environments in mind, PlasmaTech’s wireless door locks provide a cost-effective solution to lessen the risks to building security. The company’s wireless solutions allow organizations to reduce the costs of security and conserve valuable resources across the enterprise. “Our wireless access control solutions deliver military-grade security remotely, and with total wireless control that allows organizations to meet increased security needs while containing costs, which is certainly an attractive benefit in the current economic environment,” said President of PlasmaTech, Inc. Marvin Williams.

Williams continued, “We anticipate sales agreements for a number of large installations for the 2400DL.” Williams also indicated that the Company is working with its resellers to various state and local governments on developing customized wireless access control products that will further demonstrate the flexibility of its solutions. He said that the Company plans to release a retail version of the 2400DL for the consumer home market in the latter half of 2010.

Since installation of the PlasmaTech technology does not require replacement of host or peripheral equipment, the Company reduces the need for complicated wiring of doors and gates. The card reader data, door position sensing, egress, lock control and auxiliary inputs and outputs are all controlled remotely using PlasmaTech proprietary and copyrighted wireless access control technologies, devices and systems.
