Amana Tool, manufacturers of industrial-quality carbide-tipped, solid carbide and replacement carbide cutting tools, today announced immediate availability of its full line of wood flooring cutting tools.
Included in the flooring collection are two-piece tongue and groove router bit sets, straight and rounded router bits, a shaper cutter set, an undercut saw blade for Crain® saws, and plunge router bits for template and inlay work. With the collection, remodelers, flooring installers, construction workers and hobbyists can create custom tongue and groove wood flooring and inlays from solid and engineered wood materials.
Amana Tool’s innovative two-piece tongue and groove with nail slot router bit set (#55456) is ideal for use in solid wood floor construction with 5/8” to 3/4” stock thickness. Woodworkers can also create tongue and groove flooring with nail slots using Amana’s shaper cutter set (#SC450). The rounded (#45676) and straight (#45663) router bits are designed for slotting wood flooring and feature upper ball bearing guides. Specially designed plunge bits (for example #45481), also with upper ball bearing guides, create intricate grooves for inlays and medallions. Amana’s undercut saw blade (#65040) can be used in Crain® undercut saws 812, 820 and 825 when installing the wood flooring.
