Florock Unveils New FloroCrete HD for Heavy Traffic Floors

Florock has added a new member to the already-versatile FloroCrete family of products: FloroCrete HD. Designed for floors that get the heaviest traffic, FloroCrete HD is perfect for use in the most abusive of environments.

FloroCrete Floor Covering

“Our FloroCrete line is complete with the addition of FloroCrete HD,” says Tom Lux, Florock’s Technical Service Manager. “One of the nice features of FloroCrete HD is that it’s a single coat application – primer, body-coat and topcoat all in one -- for use in the most abusive of environments. The key to HD – what makes it stand out from other FloroCrete products – is that it slides out of a screed box with ease, and closes easily with troweling.”

All FloroCrete products are designed for facilities that require corrosion-resistant, anti-skid and sanitary floor coverings. With the wide range of products in the family – FloroCrete PT, RT, SL, TL and now HD – there’s a FloroCrete system out there for every slip-resistant floor that requires excellent resistance to thermal shock and chemical attack.

The FloroCrete Primer/Topcoat is a three-component system that can be used as a primer/topcoat with another FloroCrete product or as a convenient slip-resistant system by itself with an aggregate broadcast. FloroCrete Rake and Trowel is a slurry/broadcast system designed for floors that support strenuous activity.

Rounding out the FloroCrete line are FloroCrete SL and TL. The Self-Leveling Slurry is used in less demanding environments where there is a risk of chemical spills or thermal shock, while the FloroCrete TL is a urethane mortar perfect for coving.

Every member of the FloroCrete family is suited for commercial or industrial applications and offers suburb resistance to thermal shock, chemicals and solvents, and acids and alkalis while meeting the USDA requirements for incidental food contact.

FloroCrete SL and TL can be field-tinted with Florock’s dry color pigments while FloroCrete PT, RT and HD come pre-pigmented in two colors: Tile Red and Silver Grey.
