Gradus Matting has launched two new barrier carpet products – Boulevard 2000 and Boulevard 5000, extending the current Boulevard range and providing a collection that can meet all secondary barrier carpet requirements.
Both new products have been specifically designed to look like a conventional carpet but perform as a barrier mat, combining aesthetics with functionality and offering protection for floor coverings at access points and in public areas, especially those subject to high levels of soiling and moisture ingress. Boulevard 2000 is a functional, secondary barrier carpet available in eight contemporary colourways with a patterned design to give optimum soil disguising properties. It is ideal for use in any public area subject to high levels of soiling and staining e.g. in canteens and around vending machines. Boulevard 5000 is a traditional style secondary barrier carpet which can be utilised in any area of a building prone to soil and moisture damage e.g. receptions and corridors.
Designed specifically to blend and co-ordinate with most interiors, Boulevard 5000 offers a choice of premium colour alternatives for those specifiers requiring a luxury appearance for floor finishes. Boulevard 5000 can also be used in conjunction with a number of Gradus primary barrier matting including Esplanade Plus, Access and Boardwalk to provide a fully co-ordinated barrier matting system. The extensive colour and design palette offered by the new products allows Gradus Matting to provide a secondary barrier carpet collection that can complement any interior design scheme. The two new products help to retain moisture and small dirt particles protecting the adjoining floor coverings and offering a long term, life cycle, cost saving. The easy to install barrier carpets are constructed with solution dyed nylon fibres, ensuring the products are resistant to bleach based solutions and easy to clean, therefore helping to minimise maintenance costs. The impervious backing helps to prevent moisture ingress into the sub-floor making it impenetrable to walked in moisture.
