Political leaders are united about the urgency and importance of climate change.

Local government has a key role to play in this agenda. 'Anytown 2025' is a vision of a sustainable energy future, adapted to the effects of climate change; and set out the steps, building on existing good practice, which local government can take to achieve it.

Working towards this future can lead to multiple benefits for local authorities and their communities. It is targeted at council leaders and chief executives among others.

LGA, together with EST and the EEPfH have launched a vision for local government climate change.
