A joint venture initiative of BAM has received a public private partnership (PPP) contract from Hochtaunus Kliniken located in Bad Homburg for the building of two new hospitals.
The companies participating in the joint venture initiative of BAM include Yolande Verwaltungsgesellschaft and Vermietungs. The design, build, finance and maintenance (DBFM) accord valued around €200 million is meant for a period of 25 years.
BAM Deutschland will manage the construction work of the two hospitals. The proposed new hospital at Bad Homburg will be housed in a seven story building with a floor area measuring 63,000 m². The hospital will have 11 theaters for performing operations and will have 483 beds for patients. The hospital proposed in Usingen will have three floors occupying a surface area of over 16,000 m² housing two operation theaters and 100 beds. The hospital project work is expected to commence in the middle of 2011 and will get completed to facilitate the opening of the hospitals in the last part of 2013.
The administration and maintenance work of both the hospitals will be carried out by BAM Immobilien-Dienstleistungen in association with Dussmann Service Deutschland for a period of 25 years.
