Milgard Windows + Doors Introduces Fiberglass French Doors
Milgard Windows & Doors has declared the availability of Fiberglass ADA French Doors that meet the requirement of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The company supplies WoodClad and Ultra door models with both in-swing and out-swings features. The identical type of doors fulfills the demands of ADA and incorporates ½” sill, 10” bottom rail and 32” clear opening to provide a common entry. The doors are traded as a total pre-hung door system.
The ADA fiber glass doors are available in exterior colors such as ultra series, wood clad and fiberglass essence. The color and similar look features allows the mixed use of normal doors and ADA doors in a project. The ADA doors supplied by Milgard French door systems receive direct services from the company instead of through subcontracted laborers.
According to Jim Sheehan, Milgard’s Product Manager, the company received the idea for the ADA doors from its clients who were in search of an ADA door product that incorporates all the features and aesthetics of a normal door or window. The new door allows the people with disabilities to use the door with ease that matches with other normal doors of the building to maintain its aesthetics.
