Coswick Hardwood is offering its new line of engineered hardwood flooring called CosLoc 5G. The new flooring is eco-friendly, offers high performance and durability and at the same time cost effectiveness.
CosLoc 5G Flooring
Features of this kind of engineered flooring include a solid sawn 4 mm hardwood lamella that forms the top layer of the flooring which makes it similar to normal solid hardwood in appearance. This top layer also facilitates easy refinishing and sanding of the floor thus prolonging its performance.
The central and the bottom layer are made of solid birch bars which enhance the stability of the dimensions of the flooring. This feature also makes the flooring ideal for usage in residences above or below ground level and on top of surfaces that have heat radiance. The middle layer also consists of cork compensators which avoid the squeaky sound arising from floors and helps in balancing out the stress created on the floors. The adhesives that are used to install the flooring are free of non-toxic and free of formaldehyde. They are also resistant to water and elastic which make them environmentally-friendly. The installation procedure for this flooring is also very simple and reduces installation costs as it does not involve staples or glues. Installation is easier due to the usage of the latest locking technology in the flooring where each plank is attached by a plastic latch.
Valinge Innovation has licensed the CosLoc 5G Technology and the engineered flooring is available in 70 colours, finishes and styles.
