Gradus Launches New Systemmatics Concept

The launch of the new Gradus Barrier Matting Systems Catalogue introduces the new Gradus SystemMatics concept, as well as providing contractors and specifiers with a single point of reference and a one stop shop for all matting requirements.

The new catalogue allows customers to select their matting with confidence by detailing the extensive range of services offered by Gradus Matting including specification, manufacture, installation and maintenance advice. Gradus has launched a new SystemMatics process to demonstrate that barrier matting is not just for building entrances. The system works by outlining the areas, within in a building, which are prone to heavy traffic and increased soiling, including reception areas and around vending machines to demonstrate how barrier matting can be utilised elsewhere in buildings to help reduce long term damage and maintain a clean environment.

The new catalogue also introduces a range of new products including Esplanade Plus Open and a series of developments in the Boulevard secondary barrier matting portfolio.

In addition to this, the catalogue also showcases existing products including, heavy duty engineered mats such as Topguard, Topguard Plain and Esplanade Plus and easy to install matting e.g. Access and Boardwalk.

To assist with product selection, the catalogue offers advice on matting specification and specifically:

  • Safety information on all current legislation including Building Regulations 2000 Approved Document M
  • Performance capabilities, which looks to explain the main functions of matting
  • Aesthetic potential outlines the colour and design options available to complement the interior design scheme of any building
