Dow Corning, a global leader in silicones, silicon-based technologies and innovation, is in Guangzhou today to present its products and support services at the 21st Aluminum Window Door Façade Expo.
The company will show its innovative solutions for high performance façades to building designers and construction management, as well as promote its comprehensive project management system.
Established in 1995, Aluminum Window Door Façade Expo is China’s first expo for the window, door and façade industry. This annual trade fair showcases the latest technologies and products in façade systems, structure sealants, aluminum profiles, and building glass from across Asia and the world. Dow Corning has been an exhibitor at the expo for more than ten years.
“As the industry leader, Dow Corning offers more than a reliable, worldwide supply of top silicone products for applications from structural glazing to weatherproofing. It also offers a full range of construction project management services,” said Xu Dong , marketing manager in High Performance Building Solutions, Greater China.
The newly completed 632-meter-high Shanghai Tower is an excellent project to demonstrate Dow Corning’s various critical roles during the years of construction. Besides providing innovative and high quality products, the company acted as a trainer, giving product and technology training from the beginning; as an consultant to review all blueprints related to window or façade designs, a laboratory inspector to test material performance, and a supervisor to ensure the application procedure was strictly in line with building regulations, all of which were essential to the successful installation of an 80,000-square-meter curtain wall.
Since the first structural silicone glazing application in 1964, Dow Corning has been a pioneer in world construction technologies, providing the construction industry with groundbreaking solutions and gradually changing the faces of world cities. Of the 50 completed ultra-high rise buildings in the world, 35 of them were built with Dow Corning High Performance Building solutions.
The 21st Aluminum Window Door Façade Expo is being held at Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center from March 18 to 20. You can find the Dow Corning booth at No.6358, Hall 6.
