North America’s Oldest Appliance Contest Launched

APWagner.com announces North America’s Oldest Appliance Contest.  Do you know of an old appliance?  They want to see it!

“AP Wagner has been in the appliance parts business for 79 years.  We get all kinds of calls from customers looking for parts for their 30 year old refrigerator or 40 year old range.  In anticipation of our 80th anniversary celebration in January, we thought it would be a great idea to get out there and find the oldest appliances we could and give the owners a brand new one!” said Mike Mangan, President of APWagner.com.

North America’s Oldest Appliance Contest is a nationwide call to find the oldest appliance, working or not, in the United States or Canada.  Contestants wishing to enter should send a 2 minute video of themselves and their appliance to www.apwagner.com.

The contest has six categories and each will have a winner.  The grand prize winner with the Absolute Oldest Appliance will win Three Brand New Whirlpool Appliances plus $1,000 in Cash!  There will also be winners for the Oldest Refrigerator, Oldest Range, Oldest Dryer and Oldest Washer.

Don’t have an old appliance?  It’s ok…Enter anyway!  Send a video with your newer appliances!  The craziest video entry received on www.apwagner.com will receive Three Brand New GE Appliances plus $1,000 in Cash!

Video submissions will be judged on originality, creativity and age of the appliances.  The contest will run until January 31, 2008.  Video Judging will run from February 4 – March 31, 2008 on www.apwagner.com and winners will be announced on April 7, 2008.

Complete contest rules and well as instructions on how to enter can be found by visiting www.apwagner.com and clicking on the link for North America’s Oldest Appliance Contest.
