Siemens Synco System Has Web Server so HVAC Installations Can be Controlled and Monitored From Anywhere in the World

The communications control center of the Siemens Synco system for the automatic control of HVAC installations now features an integrated web server. This enables installations to be operated and monitored at any time and from any location.

Commissioning of web server OZW775 is easy and user-friendly. The web server configures itself, as it is able to read out all the Synco devices connected (totaling up to 250) and makes the corresponding data points available. The installation can be operated and monitored at any time from any PC, from any location. An alarm system gives timely warning of any malfunctions or maintenance instructions – if requested, also by SMS, e-mail, pager or fax. This reduces response times and unnecessary service visits are avoided. Logging and evaluation of all installation readings and malfunctions enable potential installation failures to be identified, analyzed and prevented at an early stage. This remote control facility optimizes overall operation of the installation and makes it more efficient, thus helping to achieve cost and energy savings.
