Bird Enters Construction Contract with Plenary Infrastructure ERMF GP for East Rail Maintenance Facility

Bird Construction Inc. announced today that it is part of a joint venture that executed a design and construction contract with Plenary Infrastructure ERMF GP Inc. to design and construct the East Rail Maintenance Facility for GO Transit. On January 22, 2015 Bird announced that it was part of the consortium selected as the preferred proponent for the project. Since that announcement, the consortium has reached financial close.

Airgas to Build New Air Separation Unit to Supply Gas Via Pipeline to Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa

Airgas, Inc., one of the nation’s leading suppliers of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, and related products, today announced that it has signed a long-term agreement to build an air separation unit (ASU) to supply tonnage oxygen, nitrogen and argon via pipeline to Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa, Inc., a subsidiary of Nucor Corporation, at its steel manufacturing plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
