Construct, SCRA Applied R&D’s architectural structures affiliate, today announced that they have won a competitive contract to build a composite structure. Construct will be working with DeMaria, the general contractor that is building the new Taubman Complex for Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan.

Skanska Enters Contract to Construct Office Building and Parking House at Høvik

Skanska has signed a contract with Det Norske Veritas Eiendom AS to build an office building and a parking house at Høvik outside of Oslo, Norway. The contract is worth about NOK 295 M in total, about SEK 320 M, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska Norway for the first quarter of 2015.
