The Government of Canada and the Government of Alberta have funded affordable housing in Victoria Gardens at a cost of over $4.1 million. The 34 unit three-storey building has 18 one and 16 two-bedroom units. Among these, four units are barrier free. The units are earmarked for low income families, seniors and people with disabilities.

This second LEED Gold award for Tracy Aviary emphatically underscores the organization's commitment to environmentally friendly practices. The Center was constructed by Big-D Construction and designed by AJC Architects via a design-build scheme and was inaugurated in December 2011.
